PRIVACY POLICY

When you use our website, make a purchase, complain about a product or otherwise contact us, MyConcept ApS, Udsigten 7, 7850 Stoholm Jyll, Denmark, CVR No. 43834967 (hereinafter “MyConcept”, “we” or “us”) processes personal data about you as your data controller.

The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you about our processing of your personal data and your rights in this regard.

1 CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS AND LEGAL BASIS

1.1 AS A MyConceptt CUSTOMER

If you are our customer or request a quote from us, we process personal data about you in order to fulfill our agreement, including, where applicable, delivery, cf. GDPR Article 6 (1) (b) where, depending on the order in question, we process:

  1. Your name

  2. Contact information, including email address and phone number

  3. Order details

  4. Payment information

  5. Project details

MyConceptt is also obliged to process your personal data in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act, where transaction information is processed, cf. the Danish Bookkeeping Act. GDPR Article 6 (1) (c).

1.2 MARKETING FROM MyConceptt

If you accept direct marketing (newsletters, etc.), you consent to us sending our marketing to you, cf. the Privacy Policy. GDPR article 6 (1) (a), where, depending on your consent, we process:

  1. Name, date of birth if applicable

  2. Contact information, including email address and phone number

  3. Content and your choices in relation to newsletters – contact forms and content etc.

We strive to customize our marketing on our and other websites, including social media, to your preferences based on our knowledge about you from your activities on our and other websites, cf. GDPR article 6 (1) (f), where we process:

  1. Consent to direct marketing

  2. Declared areas of interest

  3. Cookies

  4. Information from our customer databases

When purchasing goods in our stores, we process personal data about you in order to follow up on our marketing campaigns and to customize the same, cf. GDPR article 6 (1) (f), where, depending on the information you provide us, we process:

  1. Email and phone number

  2. Purchase price

  3. Product ID

  4. Purchase date

Our legitimate interest in providing you with personalized marketing overrides your interests and fundamental rights. We make an automated evaluation of your personal data in order to personalize marketing to you, but we do not use automated decisions that have legal effect or similarly significantly affect you.

If you are a member of My MyConceptt, we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, cf. GDPR article 6 (1) (a), where we process:

  1. Your name

  2. Contact information, including email address and phone number

  3. Previous purchases and order details

  4. Payment information

  5. Your inquiries to us and your use of MyConceptt

1.4 WHEN YOU CONTACT US

If you contact us with questions, complaints or chat with us on our website, we process your personal data. Our legitimate interest in processing the personal data in order to answer your questions, to be able to document compliance with the GDPR or to counter any legal claims exceeds your interest in not processing the data, cf. GDPR. GDPR article 6 (1) (f) where, depending on your contact with us, we process:

  1. Your customer information

  2. Marketing information

  3. Information from queries

  4. Information about your evaluations of us and our partners

1.5 ANALYSIS

We conduct analytics to optimize our products, business models and learn more about our customers’ preferences. We do this by, among other things, analyzing our customer databases and digital services, as well as our voluntary analysis tool, where our legitimate interest in processing the personal data exceeds your interest in not processing the data, cf. the GDPR. GDPR article 6 (1) (f), where we process:

  1. Information from purchases and from our customer databases

  2. User behavior and log files from our digital services

  3. Information from our marketing

  4. The answers you provide regarding suggestions and preferences in the questionnaire sent out

1.6 SECURITY IN OUR DIGITAL SERVICES

We register your user information when you use our websites, create a MyConceptt profile or use other of our digital services, as well as log your user behavior via implemented security solutions, where our legitimate interest in securing digital services against misuse and being able to identify you where necessary exceeds your interest in the data not being processed, cf. the GDPR. GDPR Article 6 (1) (f). We process in this context:

  1. Your name

  2. Contact information, including email address and mobile number

  3. User behavior and logs

  4. Cookies

2 AUTOMATIC DECISIONS

MyConceptt uses automated decisions in the processing of your personal data for selected services and products, but we do not use automated decisions that have legal effect or similarly significantly affect you. One example is our fraud prevention and detection efforts on our website and in our digital services.

You can request that we provide you with information about the method of decisioning and ask us to verify that the automated decisioning has been performed correctly. We may deny the request as required by applicable law, including if disclosure of the information would result in the disclosure of trade secrets or interfere with the prevention or detection of fraud or other crimes. Generally, in these cases, we will verify that the algorithm and source data work as intended without errors or bias.

3. STORAGE PERIOD

We process your personal data for as long as we consider that we have a legitimate purpose for the processing or if we are obliged to do so in accordance with applicable law.

If you make a purchase of a product, we store relevant personal data for 5 years after the end of the financial year in which your last purchase was made, cf. the rules on storage of accounting material. Other personal data is stored for 30 months in order to handle our extended rules on complaints.

Personal data in connection with our marketing or My MyConceptt is deleted on an ongoing basis. We will delete your personal data in connection with your consent to marketing or MyConceptt when you withdraw your consent. However, we will continue to store information about your consent, including information about our specific marketing to you for up to 2 years for documentation purposes. Personal data in connection with analysis, security and documentation is also deleted on an ongoing basis and in all cases 3 years after the specific registration of your personal data.

We delete personal data in connection with your inquiries to us in general on an ongoing basis when we assess that there is no longer a legitimate purpose for processing them.

4. COOKIES

If you have given your consent (except for the use of necessary cookies), this website uses cookies and personal data is also collected in this context. We use cookies to personalize our content, to show you social media features and to analyze our traffic.

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer. In practice, this means that our website can remember you when you visit it repeatedly and that we can collect statistics that tell us how you and other users use our website.

We also share information about your use of our website with our social media, advertising and analytics partners. You should be particularly aware that some of our partners use your cookie data for various purposes such as technical data about your browser, their own marketing or to analyze which pages you visit, but in all cases this use is beyond our control and is solely a relationship between you and our partner. 4.1 COOKIE TYPES

We use cookies from several different providers that can give us insight into which parts of our website users visit.

Please note that there may be parts of www.myconceptt.com that you will only be able to use if your browser accepts cookies.

Some of the information we collect may be made public, but it will be in anonymized form, for example, as information about the number of visitors to www.ilva.dk.

4.2 INFORMATION COLLECTED VIA COOKIES

When you visit our website, we will collect the following information:

  • Which pages you have looked at and when

  • Which browser you use

  • Which ip address you have

We use the technical information to find out which path our visitors use to find information on our site. For example, we can see if they start from the front page and move down the subpages or if they jump into the middle of the website from a search engine.

5 DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We only disclose your personal data when we believe it is necessary for us to do so as a result of the operation of our business or if it follows from a legal obligation incumbent on us as data controllers.

Depending on your activities, we may disclose your personal data to the following broad categories of companies in accordance with applicable law:

  1. Internally related companies
    b. Operational and software suppliers and other data processors
    c. Marketing partners who assist MyConceptt in connection with our marketing
    d. Accountant, lawyer and bank connections
    e. Suppliers and partners, including independent transportation companies, who assist MyConceptt in connection with our daily activities.

6 TRANSFER TO THIRD COUNTRIES

When your personal data is transferred to companies outside the EU/EEA, this transfer will be based on the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses, including any additional measures we deem necessary. You can request a copy of the agreement covering the transfer of personal data by contacting us.

For the purpose of our marketing, cf. section 1.2, we transfer pseudonymized (hashed) personal data to Facebook and Google, which are located in countries outside the EU.

7 YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to request information about or access to your personal information. However, there are exceptions, which means that you will not always receive all the information we process.

You have the right to object to MyConceptt’s processing of your personal data. This means you can stop or prevent us from processing your personal data. However, this only applies in certain cases and we do not have to stop processing your personal data if we can provide legitimate reasons to continue processing your personal data.

In certain cases, you have the right to request the erasure of your personal data.

You have the right to receive a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format by contacting us. Where technically feasible, you have the right to request that the personal data be transmitted directly to another company or person acting as a data controller.

You have the right to have inaccurate personal data about you rectified. You also have the right to have personal data that you believe is incomplete completed.

In certain cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted.

Where the processing of your personal data is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent. However, this does not mean that the processing carried out before you withdrew your consent is unlawful.

8 SAFETY

We protect your personal data and have adopted internal information security rules that contain instructions and measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized disclosure and against unauthorized access to or knowledge of your data. We have established procedures to protect your data. To avoid data loss, we continuously back up our data sets. We also protect the confidentiality and authenticity of your data using encryption.

Your personal data will be stored in MyConceptt’s system. Only persons from MyConceptt and the responsible persons at our data processors are entrusted with the above-mentioned data. Your information is never sold to third parties. They are only disclosed to the extent necessary to fulfill our agreement. For example, for the delivery of your goods via our carrier or to resolve a complaint via a repairer.

Your credit card information is sent directly and encrypted to our payment provider and is not stored in MyConceptt s system.

In the event of a security breach that results in a high risk to you of identity theft, financial loss or other significant inconvenience, we will notify you of the security breach as soon as possible.

9 CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy policy will be updated and amended periodically, including when necessary as a result of changes in data protection law and practice. You should therefore keep yourself informed of any changes to the policy. If we make material changes to this, we will notify you.
